# Start a brief

craftledge is a brand studio for B2B and B2C companies. Tell us what you are building and who signs for it. A person reads it and a person replies, with either what we would do and what it costs, or why we are the wrong studio.

## The terms

- Capacity: four projects a quarter. Two open in Q3 2026, and the next four open in October.
- Briefs are read every Monday.
- Pricing: by quote on every service. There is no rate card.
- Location: Anywhere in the world. Contact: hello.craftledge@gmail.com.

## What a brief needs

1. **What you are building**. The product or the company, in a sentence. Not the deck version.
2. **Who signs for it**. The person on the other side of the table, and what they are judged on.
3. **Which market**. Where the first buyers are. The buyer changes by country, and so does the work.
4. **What has been tried**. The agency, the freelancer, the template. What it cost and where it stopped.
5. **When it has to be live**. A real date. If there is not one, say that instead of inventing one.
6. **What a win looks like**. The number or the moment you would call this a success by.

## What happens next

01. **It is read**. Briefs are read every Monday. Yours goes into the next one.
02. **One reply**. A person replies. Either what we would do and what it would cost, or why we are the wrong studio.
03. **One call**. Thirty minutes, to find the thing the brief did not say.
04. **A signed sheet**. Scope, price and dates on one page. The register issues the next job number.

## What the studio does

- **Brand identity and logo**. A wordmark, a palette, a type system and the rules that hold them together, drawn from scratch rather than assembled from a template.
- **Tagline and voice**. The line the company leads with and the tone everything else is written in, worked out from what the buyer is actually deciding between.
- **Websites**. Design and build, shipped as a real site rather than a handoff. Server rendered, fast, and readable without JavaScript.
- **Investor and client decks**. The investor deck and the room deck, written and designed together, because the two audiences are checking for different things.
- **Go to market, B2B and B2C**. Positioning, the offer, who signs it, and the pipeline around them, whether that is a procurement desk or a person with a cart.
- **Deep research, any segment**. A category read with every figure either sourced or marked as ours, every assumption written down with what would disprove it, and every gap we could not close left visible.
- **Mobile apps, iOS and Android**. Native quality applications on both platforms, designed and built by the same hand.
- **Custom AI agents**. Agents built for one job in one business, wired to the tools that business already runs on rather than to a demo.

## Questions

### What does it cost?

By quote, every time. The studio prices the job rather than the hour, because the same logo is a week for one company and a month for another, and a rate card would only be right for the jobs it was written against. A brief comes back with a number and what is inside it.

> a number, and what is in it

### How many projects do you take?

Four a quarter. That is a cap and a policy rather than a stock level: it does not move as work is booked. Two are open this quarter, and the next four open in October.

> Four, and it does not move

### When do I hear back?

Briefs are read every Monday, so the longest you wait is a week and the shortest is a day. A real person replies, and the reply says yes or no rather than nothing.

> a week at worst

### Do you work with B2B physiotherapy companies?

Yes, and it is the category the studio has read most closely. The workplace physiotherapy study covers fourteen markets end to end: who carries the burden, who actually signs, and which markets are worth entering first. A brand in that category starts from a read rather than from a blank page.

> the category we know best

### Which countries do you work in?

The fourteen the research covers: Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the European Union, Germany, the Netherlands, the Nordics, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Singapore and Australia. Somewhere else is not a no, it is a shorter answer with less behind it.

### Can I buy one part rather than the whole route?

Yes. The route runs nine stations and a client may board at any of them. Most arrive needing the identity or the site and leave having also fixed the line, because the line was the thing that was wrong.

> board at any station

### Will you show my work to anyone?

No. Every client is under NDA and the site holds to it: the case study names a sector, a job number and a finding, and never the client. That is why the study you are reading is a category read rather than a client's own deck.

> never, and that is why

### Do you build AI agents?

Yes, built for one job in one business and wired to the tools that business already runs on. It is not a separate department. It sits on the same route as the site and the app, because it usually turns out to be part of one of them.
